Questions about Travel & Getting Around

Is this a phrasebook I can carry on a trip?

No. It is a puzzle book for building travel vocabulary before and between trips. For words to reach for when you are stuck, see the French Survival Kit book.

Is this book large print?

Yes. Every puzzle uses a 12×12 grid with large-print letters, on 8.5 × 11 inch pages, and the cover is marked Large Print.

Are the answers included?

Yes. The book has an answer key with every solved grid, so you can check your work.

Do I need to know French already?

No prior study is assumed. Every French word appears with its English meaning and an approximate pronunciation cue, and puzzles get gradually harder from one star to five.

Are there songs to go with it?

Yes. Each book in the series has its own set of companion songs, bilingual and built around that book’s vocabulary. The songs are created with generative AI under human creative direction. Scan the code inside the book to listen.
