Questions about My First French Vacation
How is this different from Travel & Getting Around?
Travel & Getting Around is about navigating any trip: airports, transport, hotels and what to do when things go wrong. My First French Vacation is about enjoying France once you are there: cafés, markets, wine, museums, shopping, villages, château life and talking with people.
Is it only about Paris?
No. The book follows one trip: Paris first, then the train to the French countryside for villages, markets, a wine tasting and life at a château.
Is this book large print?
Yes. Every puzzle uses a 12×12 grid with large-print letters, on 8.5 × 11 inch pages, and the cover is marked Large Print.
Are the answers included?
Yes. The book has an answer key with every solved grid, so you can check your work.
Do I need to know French already?
No prior study is assumed. Every French word appears with its English meaning and an approximate pronunciation cue, and puzzles get gradually harder from one star to five.
Are there songs to go with it?
Yes. Each book in the series has its own set of companion songs, bilingual and built around that book’s vocabulary. The songs are created with generative AI under human creative direction. Song links are on this page when available.
